Starting at the Pakowhai ki Otutaopuku Bridge at Memorial Park, Opotiki, this 3 hour tour takes you on the grade 2 Dunes trail which undulates past Hikuwai and Tirohonga Beaches. At any point, you can leave your bike and plunge headfirst into pristine waters for a refreshing dip. We share stories of the land and its people and the positive community involvement in developing this trail. Always there is the opportunity to engage in some environmental work to enhance this special place
Before returning to Opotiki we pause in a secluded spot for a refreshing brew, home baked delights and fresh, locally grown, fruit. Back on the bikes, we stop only for some photos in enchanting locations - photos that we will email to you free of charge.
